About Pharmacy Specialists Compounding Pharmacy
Pharmacy Specialists Compounding Pharmacy was founded in 1998 with the simple purpose of serving patients’ unique health care needs. As pharmacists, we believe in working directly with patients and their healthcare practitioner to create a therapy plan that is personalized to the needs of the individual. The standard one-size-fits-all approach does not work for everyone. By delivering high quality custom prescriptions, unique services, and education, we hope to meet each patient’s healthcare needs and improve quality of life.
About the Pharmacist in Charge
Juan’s journey in pharmacy began as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens while pursuing pre-professional coursework at the University of Central Florida. He went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA. Juan’s professional career took root at Pharmacy Specialists, where he initially served as a prescriber education liaison and compounding pharmacist, delivering personalized care and cultivating strong relationships with healthcare providers.
In 2015, Juan was awarded Fellowship by the Alliance for Compounding Pharmacy (FAPC), the organization’s highest honor, in recognition of his commitment to patient care, excellence in quality pharmacy compounding, and adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Today, Juan serves as General Manager and Pharmacist-In-Charge at Pharmacy Specialists. In this role, he oversees all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence. Juan and his team are dedicated to exceeding expectations through personalized medicine to improve the overall quality of life of those they serve.
